Shoe
storage is one of the most requested areas of organization
when someone is considering a new custom closet design. This
is without a doubt the one wardrobe item that everyone has
multiples of, and in most cases a range of 10 to even 100
pair is quite regular.
Storing and organizing that many shoes used to be a big
challenge for all of us. Today, there are several ways to
store, organize, and display shoes in a closet system.
Certainly shelves have been the most common way for shoes to
be stored.
The
shoe shelf has been made one step better with the addition
of the full extension ball bearing slide. Equally as
important is storing shoes on a natural angle tilting
forward so that it's easier to see the shoe. Lastly, siding
shoe shelves can be stacked creating a department store feel
to a closet system and a dedicated area in a closet where
all shoes can be easily seen. |
